CURRENT PHASE: Grab & Go Limited Services
Throughout the summer, the Library will be gradually transitioning from Phase 4 (Grab & Go) to Phase 5 (6 Foot WPL). Current services are detailed below and will be updated when additional services are added.
|Phase 4||Grab & Go Limited Library Services|
|Building Access||The building will be open to the public regular hours of operation. Recommended time All safety guidelines will be followed and Library guests must observe the recommended 6 feet apart for social distancing.
Unvaccinated patrons and children ages 2 – 11 are required to wear masks when inside the building. The Wixom Public Library encourages everyone entering the building to wear a face mask.
We continue to operate under capacity limits of 50% of the total occupancy established by the local Fire Marshall and all others must wait outside the Library.
|In Library Expanded Services||The Library is open for browsing, hold pickup, and reference assistance. Limited seating is available.|
|Computers, Copier & Printing||Computers are available for 1 hour sessions per day. Printing, copy and scanning services are available.|
|Programs||Most programs are virtual. Some outdoor programs are also available (weather permitting). See https://wixomlibrary.evanced.info/signup/calendar for details.|
|Returns||Patrons are able to return items in our book returns. STEAM kits and hotstpots will be accepted at the Check Out Desk.|
|Curbside Pick-Up||Curbside pick up of materials is available at wixomlibrary.org/curbside|
|Cleaning||Daily cleaning and disinfecting of all high touch areas will be conducted.|
Contactless Service Continues
We will continue to offer a variety of contactless library services throughout the coming months, including curbside pickup of library materials, increased access to digital services, expanded mobile hotspot program and virtual programming. We encourage patrons to continue to use these services.
